1 run speaker wire to the amp. then run the remote lead to the headunit(HU). run the rca cables from the amp to the HU. run power to batt, and run a ground somewhere nearby.
2 yes
3 2 channel-2 speakers, 4 channe-4 speakers, or 2 can be bridged as 1, and 4 as 2.
4 best is 4gauge from batt to amp and for the ground. speaker wire can be 8/10/12 check this to find out: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-R....html
5 look at the first link

</TD></TR></TABLE>Ok I will give it a shot.......
1-First get everything together, [ parts and tools]
2-Yes its all compatible
3- A 2ch amp has 2 channels, [left and right] and a 4ch has 4 channels, [left and right front an left and right rear, most 2ch amps can be bridged into 1 channel, and most 4ch amps you can bridge one set or both sets of left and rights, [4ch 3ch or 2ch]
4- You will need an "amp kit" it will have the power wire, amp trigger wire, fuse holder ring term., ground wire and the RCA signal cable, and if it is a 760 watt rms amp, you will need a 4ga kit, get one with a wafer fuse, [ANL].
5- Run the power down the batt. side of car, [and as I don't know what kind of car you have] most cars it's the right side, you can run the amp trigger wire with it.
Run the RCAs down the center of car, [A bit of a pain, but it is the best way to run them] ground the amp as close to the amp as you can, use a bolt that goes into the floor pan of the car, [seat/seatbelt bolts work the best].
Before you start, disconnect the batt. neg. (-) term., [all good installers do] as for what to do/plug in first, makes no real diff., although installing the HU first, and then trying to hook up the RCAs and amp trigger wire, may not be the way to go
Just install everything and connect all the wiring, keep things as short as you can, but remember it's better that the wire is 12" to long then 1" to short, the RCA that you get with the kit will be to long, [17 to 20 feet] nothing you can do about it, except, see if you can find a power only amp kit, [they do sell them] and get the RCA separately.
There is a hell of a lot more to it, but it's not that hard, take your time, no need to rush.
I hope this helps, if you need more help, feel free to IM me, I check every day
