well i got a great deal on a full-race turbo kit and its a deal i couldnt turn down
its the stage 2 non ac
i have a couple of questions though, its for an ek, so i know the charge pipes wont work, but do i have the couplers setup in the pics like i should in the engine?

now i plan on running stock block ls till i get my built ls going, when will i reach full boost with this turbo

its a t3 60-1 the a/r is .70 intake with .63 exhaust??
and do i have the oil drain set up right??

im gettin rc 550's and either goin uber chrome or maybe neptune if i get my built block done by then
what exhaust should i use and what catalytic converter??? seems like the dp has a 3 bolt flange and stock cat has 2 bolt

Ek piping would work, you just need to modify it. Talk to full-race and see if they can exchange the piping if they're not used. They are very helpfull
and post pics of your teg
looks like a good setup man, but i could have swore that on EKs, there isn't a hole for the stock intake box to sit over, so you have to run it down by the radiator, just like on a DC?
if the piping is for an EK, then it should work with a teg also, as long as the upper pipe doesnt angle towards the passenger fender

I agree, 550cc arent big enough. The max u can get out of them is around ~380 with 93% duty cycle. I would recommand getting at least 660 or 750cc.

well damn 380 whp is good enough for me for now
picked up an ls head last night with upgraded springs and crower turbo cams, so im sticking with all ls
my motor setup so far is:
94 ls block
9.8:1 je pistons 81mm bore
eagle rods
arp headstuds with oem hg
ls head, 3 angle vavle job
crower turbo cams
crower valve springs
supertech valves
aem cam gears
with oem gasket build and acl bearings
im hoping to hit mid to high 300's on high boost and mid to high 200's on street boost
any other recommendations??
thanks again

There is 0 reason to buy 550's, cause they are cheeper than 750;s?
Get 850's and you'll be happier, once you build oyur block you will run out of turbo, not out of fuel.
Its better that way

well i can get the 550's for half the price of bigger injectors 150$$
but if you all think it would be better to spend twice as much to be able to go 400whp on stock sleeves i will, but i feel on stock sleaves 550's will do me well

catco converter from summit racing is best $$$ and best converter for performance applications on the market.
pass emissions minimal exhaust flow restriction at the same time

This doesnt work well with honda engines. They like to make peak VE at higher rpms, and using a cam like this will ultimately limit the amount of scavenging that occurs in the higher rpm level. With a high lift, low duration turbo cam you'll make alot of midrange gain, but the top end will drop off since the engine wont be able to breath through the reduction in total valve time open (duration). <FONT SIZE="3">One customer had a set of Crower turbo cams, he losted nearly 40whp at high boost compared to a pair of OEM b16a ones.</FONT> OEM gsr and itr are really good at making high rpm whp that honda engines are known for.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I don't know, but I'd hold off on the crowers.
