anyone ever have over heating problems with a daily driven car with a block guard? if so what did you do to solve it, and what block guard were you running?

also would you recommend running one with a b16 at around 350whp? or would you not think it would be worth it? let me know

you should be ok, just make sure to sink the block guard a 1/4" or so below the deck and have the cylinder's checked for "out of round" as this may happen. Also...try to stay away from block guards that are restrictive ( coolant flow). I'm using G.E block guard..it looks like the STR's. I beat the living **** out of my engine and it has never over heated. This is on a D series by the way.

<--- Guarded.

Not boosted yet, but ran the car W/O a fan and it didnt over heat unless I ran the car really hard and then sat at a light or something for a while while the car was idle'ing

Guards are good if they are INSTALLED properly! (Ive said this 1,000,000,000,000 Times!
