Default What size downpipe, test pipe, and exhaust do you greddy users run?

i have a 93 coupe with a b16 stock block with a greddy 18g, stock downpipe, gutted cat and a 2 1/4" (i believe) hks hi power exhaust. i was wondering if i got a 2.5" downpipe that spoolin performance sells, a 2.5-3.0" test pipe, and the full race thermal 3inch exhaust would i pick up alot of power and spool time or would it not be worth the 1000 dollars i'll spend doing it? i plan to build the bottom of the motor in the future but dont know when exactly i want to make the turbo as efficient as i can. so i'm wondering if spending all of that money will be worth it or should i keep the exhaust i have and just get the downpipe upgrade. thanks in advance

seems to me like you running low boost so all that exhaust work really isnt going to do what you want/expect from it. dp could be a good upgrade for the time being but all that other exhaust stuff is kinda overkill imo. save the money for your motor build in the future then throw on a 3 inch etc.

yeah, i'm running relatively low boost, it spikes to like 9psi, i'm still working with the profec b spec 2 to see if i cant work with the spike. but it holds like 7.5 psi strong.

the only thing is i want to get the downpipe upgrade definately but will it mate up to my stock cat? or will i have to get a new test pipe for it?

i plan on building the motor in the future just dont have the funds yet so i'mt rying to get the setup ready so i dont have to do too much after i get the motor in to open it up. thats why i was wondering about the exhaust.

the dp should mate to the cat. but really if you are going through all the trouble of doing exhaust and **** just get a test pipe anyways. what fuel setup are you running(blue box) or something else. keep the exhaust you have till you are pushing 300+hp imo.
