OK so today I finally got my car back together from putiin a new clutch in and a intake manifold and hondata heatshield. When I started my car tons of water was shooting out the exhaust and it sounded llike it was breaking up. Now all my coolant was drained before hand and I didn't have any so I just put water in for the time just to make sure everything worked. The water level in the radiator just kept going down more and more. Is there something special about the hondata gasket?? Or are there and vacuum/ coolant hoses that i may have crossed (doubt it but not positive)??? I drained the oil tonight to hopefully get all of the moisture out. HOPEFULLY I didn't mess anything up
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

when you pull the oil dip stick is it all creamy or is it regular.. Also pull spark plugs out and turn key on like your starting it and see if coolant shoots out the holes.

Well so far the oil hasn't turned creamy still looks like oil.....but on the top of the fill cap it had a little white on there(oxidation from water??) ......Anyway, I know somehow coolant is gettin into the motor just tryin to figure out how
that's crazy! from an intake manifold and hondata gasket? was the correct manifold and gasket installed? i'd get the car back to the shop and find out if it's the right parts.

Ok so i finally found the problem. This piece of shhh hondata heatshield gasket isn't sealing where the coolants lines go into the manifold and coolant is getting into the motor as well as runnin down the block. I tried new stock gasket same thing just not as bad. Any suggestions? Maybe some type of spray on gasket sealer??

well it sounda like there is some old gasket material left from your old gasket...did u scrape ALL the excess of with like a knife or something. I know everytime i change one it never comes off fully and i spend a good hour or so just scraping.

hahaha, at the honda dealership? in the parts dept. should be no more than $20.
you will have more use for it later on... cam seals, oil pan, tranny, etc
