can 16'' TE-37 centre caps be powdercoated flat black to match the lugs?
If they are made out of plastic the answer is no.
if they are made out of metal the answer is yes.

Yup, took the words right out of my mouth.
IF they are plastic you can just lightly scuff them up with some light sandpaper and hit 'em with a few coats of flat black spray paint, I've done it on a few sets of plastic center caps.

My hubs are starting to rust because I don't have centercaps for my rims. I'd like to get some caps, but everyone tells me that volk doesn't make a flat centercap for its 16" te37. grrr

why dont you paint the hub with flat black paint too? this is my sole saver for rust :D my calipers have it, rotor hats, header, muffler....haha....i dont think it would hurt the hubs to have a light coat to keep it from rusting.
Here is my "Ghetto Racing" center cap....It is actually a BMW wheel emblem bombed flat black. Cost: $5 ea. Slap on some 3M tape on the back and voila. Although I will admit that I have not tried them out yet.....

The BMW caps look very clean and nice. They look better than Volk centercaps IMO.
I WISH they made flat center caps for the 16" Volk wheels.
These have done the job (made by volk) and look OK but I'm still looking into custom flat caps.

I work @ BMW. That's why I used them...heh heh...was bored one day, thought I'd see if we had a center cap. I'll get the part #. These fit flush and are flat. E-mail me if you want some. I'll see what I can do.

Nice JohnnyBoy, will that alos work with 15" wheels? You wouldn't by chance have a part# or know exactly what BMW calls it do you? Tanx.

BMW part# 36 13 1 181 080 It's just called a wheel emblem. Or you can get a 36 13 1 095 361 center cap and take it apart(really easy)....It is the same emblem minus the adhesive.
