Default Crx won't start...dead fuel pump. **update- she runs!!! but dunno why**

I drove about 12 miles on the freeway to a friends house, parked the car for about 2 hours...came back out and the car won't start. Cranks but won't fire up at all. Fuel pump's not buzzing when switched on like it usually does. Tried knocking on the main relay while cranking but no luck. The fuel pump was replaced by the previous owner with a high flow one but don't know anything about it. Can I access the fuel pump wiring from inside the cabin? if so, where exactly?

if you take your back seat cushion out the fuel pump and connector is under there...

I only see a cover with 3 phillips screws which I believe is the level sender. Doesn't look like I can access the fuel pump from there and I believe it's further back from the sender. However, I think the problem may not be the pump since my main relay isn't clicking at all.

go to your nearest auto parts store ( or honda if u got deep pockets, lol ) and pick up a main relay. on the ef's you have to drop the gas tank inorder to replace the fuel pump.

Wrong info, you have to drop the tank to get to the fuelpump

First off check the ground on the thermostat, make sure it is there and tight. then if that checks out it must be your main relay. No clicks means it is not sending power to the pump. All the pumps I seen go out still had the click. Only other time I have seen no click with everything listed checked out as ok, the "A" ecu plug was loose.

wTF??? I go out to the Rex today just to check and see if the pump is working and sure enough the SOB primed and started right up!!! I didn't do **** to it since being towed. I checked the main relay and it was working fine before, everything was, except the damn fuel pump itself and now it decides to work like there was some sort of failsafe mode or something. I'm going to go ahead and resolder the main relay just incase but what the **** is going on? anyone have any ideas? btw, where is this thermostat ground?

my relay did this when it was going bad, intermittently wont start, some times would, next time to see if its the fuel pump access the connector under the storage compartment, manually hotwire the pump and see if it runs, got my car home that way one time
