reupholster. there is no way to stop it once it starts. it will just get worse. dont let it get to the point that the foam starts falling apart.

Just use a BIG patch to double up the weared down areas. Don't cut to fix small hole, make big patch.

yeah, i sewed the one in my car, but when i did it, it went way in on the stitches to where the fabric wasn't worn, and i also used a baseball-type stitch so it will hold well.

Default Here's what I did...

Well, the previous owner did this first and I just cleaned it up a bit.

Duct tape liberally applied to keep everything together and then a couple of seat covers from Walmart and you're good to go! And as an added bonus, you can use the monster-sized roll of duct tape as a drink holder!

I sew that **** up with black thread. If needed I even stuff couple of small towel where the foam came out and re-sew that bitch so it can look bulky I am about to get 1 Recaro imitation seat for $70 with railings, plus took out the passenger seat. I roll solo hahahahahahahahah.

That is actually very clean. I would use black Duct tape though. I think I may do this one, and not use seat covers.....there isnt enough cloth over the hole to make a good stitch on mine. Previous owner obviously didnt care when the seat started going bad. It's the one flaw in my interior and its Fugly.
