when i step on the gas in gear its like im in neutral, just revs?
i dont know what is going on, when im driving and i want to pass a car in 4th gear going like 40 and i step on it and it usually just accels slowly but now it is just reving all the way till it hits vtec but the car just stays there and doesnt accelerate but when i hit vtec its like normal? thanks for your help

really? i was thinking about that but im not sure i really dont think its that, but it may be? i dont see why it would rev all the way up when im in gear though?

Your clutch is gone. Your motor is producing too much torque (ill avoid the honda torque jokes for now) for what's left of your clutch, and it's slipping. Replace the clutch and you'll be fine.
