Maybe throw in some (i forget the numbers) first gen integra pistons? There good for a nice bump in compression, look around, I don't think you have to change anything to get them to fit.

BTW I love d-series.

They are d16a1 pistons. With a thrown rod, I would look into the head first to see if anything was damaged. Better be safe than sorry.

Replace the rods and bearings. Replace rings and whatnot since the block will already need to be apart. PM7 or P26[Integra I believe?] pistons have the same bore, but will bring the CR up. Since its a SOHC head, go get a good cam and have a local shop port and polish it up. Get a valvejob, I believe you can use the D16Z6 head gasket, its a single layer metal hg so it will also raise the CR. Baffle the oil pan, replace the oil and water pump. Use the D16Y8 manifold http://www.geocities.com/joeyp....html . Go to http://www.maxbore.com do some work on your throttle body. And a decent header, I recommend the Megan Racing Ebay header, here's my review/write-up on it https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1257061 . With all that and an Si or Zc trans and you would have 1 fun little daily driver. - Darrell
