I noticed my resovoir tank was empty so i filled it up 50% mixture. Drove around a little bit, not even 20 mins. The tank is empty. So Then i re-fill, another 20 mins of driving...gone. I then just leave it alone with the tank empty, i check it the next morning and it leaking where the big top hose goes into the radiator. Did i overfill the radiator or something, it never leaked there before this. Is it okay to run the resevoir tank empty if my temps never reach halfway?

 

Did you open your radiator cap to see whether the actual radiator was full or empty?
