Default GSR dizzy wiring problems in 99 civic! Extra wires?

I have searched all over the place and cannot find the answers to my problem(s).
I was told the harness should have clipped directly into the Gsr dizzy, well of course things cant be THAT easy.
So I'll list the wires that I have on the Gsr dizzy (00 obd2) and 99 Civic harness.
B18c1... Blu/yel, blu/grn, Blu(thicker), Wht, Wht/blu, Blk/yel, yel/grn, org?, org/blu.
D16y8 harness.... Blk, Red, Wht, Blk/yel, yel, Grn, Blu, yel/grn.

This is how I have them connected as of now. (car is not running right and throwing a ckp CEL.)

D16 harness -> b18 dizzy
yel/grn - yel/grn
Blk/yel - blk/yel
wht - wht
yel - org
grn - org/blu
blu - blu/grn
red - wht

I was told that the thick blue wire on the gsr dizzy does nothing (there was no blue wire on the gsr harness either)
I have a Blue/Yel wire left over on the dizzy side
and a Blk wire left over on the d16 harness.

I am not sure if all of the wires are matched up correctly but if anyone could give me some information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

OK after trial & error I've cleared all codes except for the 22 (vtec pressure switch?)... I replaced the switch and its still throwing that code, and the engine won't rev above 5k rpm, anyone know why this is?

I had the same problems a few years back. I had the incorrect distributor. Check to make sure you have the correct one.

are you using a stock obd2 gsr ecu?

make sure the vtec pressure switch wiring is going to "C" 15 at the ecu. (c is the middle sized plug) wire should be blue & black. look at the ecu connector from the back (looking from where the wires go into the plug). count 5 accorss from the left on the second row.

use a voltmeter and set it to continuity. it should make "beep" sound or show up on the volt meter if the wire makes a solid connection.

Okay... I am really confused. There are like 3 different people posting the same questions. One says they have a GSR, the other says its an LS. WTF is going on here?!!!!
