EM1 exhaust fit an EJ1?
Just what the topic says. I already put the EM1 muffler on the car, but rubs the trunk. Will The cat back (b pipe?) fit an EJ1? This may help the muffler from rubbing the trunk. I am only asking because I have the stock exhaust from my EM1 just sitting in my shed and need exhaust on my EJ1. If it fits I might as well use it. Thanks in advance.
ok, you have the MUFFLER on the car and the MID-PIPE in the shed??? that was confusing to me i dunno bout others... it will fit. i had a 99 civic greddy piping on my old 93 coupe with stock muffler.
Sorry for the confusion. The mid-pipe from my EM1 is in the shed. Right now the mid-pipe on the car is stock EJ1 exhaust and the muffler is off my EM1.
I know 92-00 exhaust is supposed to be the same, but I am questioning this setup because an EM1 had a DOHC and all other coupes have a SOHC. Just wanted to know if it all lines up?

if i use a 92 exhaust on my 96 hatch, and the 92 is the same for 92-00 then it must be the same with 96-00 hatches as well
it is different for the 92-95 hatches though

Thanks for the reply's!!!
Looks like I have some work to do. Did the muffler rub the trunk with the entire cat back? Or is it just the fact that I have the EJ1 mid-pipe that locates the muffler at a different position causing it to rub? I will let you know how it goes.

You guys were 100% right! The EM1 exhaust bolted right up no problems, no rubbing. I even used the EM1 cat and just put an old O2 sensor in to plug the hole. Thanks for the replys/help.
