Default What compresson for h22a turbo build?

I am contemplating 9:0:1 or 9:5:1, what are the pros and cons of each?

Im guessing a 9:5:1 would give me a better low end but worse top end and the opposite for 9:0:1.

The block is being built to run 15PSI street application, 300-400WHP

Your help is much appreciated

both would be fine for pump gas.. the 9.5 would work well, i have had wiseco 9.7:1 in my lude , and arias 9.2:1

you wont feel a big difference in bottom end response between the 9:1 and the 9.5:1

So if I had an option bearing in mind my goals on the first post would you go 9:0:1 or 9:5:1? Thanks

Also I have been quoted for the forged internals. Im going with CP pistons which are £450 ($820) and eagle rods for £240 ($437). The block shall be sleeved using Darton Sleeves which are costing £200 ($364). Are these competitively priced? Being from the UK it is difficult to tell

I do have a choice between Eagle and Crower rods but the crower are nearly twice as much, can I make 400HP on Eagle rods? or should I pay the extra and go with Crower?

Your help is much appreciated

Im running 9:1 CP's, just for the fact that I would rather have less chance of detonation on pump gas than better low end with the risc of detonation. you should get your rods/pistons here on h-t because that seems like an awful lot of $.
