Default Compression Ratio Question

I did a bit of searching around including the huge compression ratio thread on CTR (pct) pistons... However i still did not find what i was looking for.

I know that there is a huge confusion issue with the whole C-speed Racing calculator. So any help that you could give me would me most appreciated.

Its a b18a 81.25 mm bore (no decking)
pct pistons
b18b head (no milling)
95ls rods (pretty sure it dosent matter but thought i would throw it in anyway)
oem head gasket

What should my compression ratio be?

Thank you in advance

You would be at 12.4:1 by this calculator below. Piston to deck hieght should be 0.00" but you can measure when you assemble to be sure. I had PCT's in My LS and now I have P73 00's and my PTDH was 0.08".

What cams are you running?

Are running OBD-0 or OBD-1

When I had PCT's and used Crower 62404's I loved my setup. dynoed 170whp and ran times in my sig. below.

You will love the 404's........Why are you using a P28 instead of a P06 or P75????

No problem! I have a P06 that I have already chipped to a Mugen copy P75 for a good price. This is the program I ran with my CTR's and 404's with stock head. It has a rev limiter of 8.5k and a more aggressive fuel curve. It worked great with 93 octane. Let me know if your interested and I will give you a price. IM me!!!

P28 is a SOHC vtec and P75 DOHC Nonvtec. I just think it is a waste of a good Vtec ecu. Also the check engine lights will be anoying!

usually when they chip ecu's they disable the CEL function for VTEC codes, so he shouldn't have any CEL's.

and lol @ the mugen copy P75. mugen never made a program for the B18A/B to copy.

Wow........what a good sales pitch they had going. I think the fuel curves are similar to mugen specs. Dont know just purchased about two years ago and I worked great.

i have all the equipment for burning the maps on. So i should be able to figure out how, or atleast turn off the CELs for the missing vtec solenoid and pressure sensors. We'll see.

Your actual compression ratio will be 12.2245:1 with that setup.
