Don't post "search" again! I have B20VTEC too and it's very good question! We are using B20 oil pump, no problem. For about 1 year engine running. And heavy accelerated all the time.

Be care full when installing oil pressure sensor for oil pressure gouge. The B20 block material are very soft. We broke the bolt on place for oil pressure sensor. Helpfully small peace broke from block. Did some welding job, seems like every thing OK. Put in to soft cable, not directly in to block.

I'll post whatever i feel like , what year b20 bottom end are you using? It may be a good idea to upgrade to a gsr, or itr oilpump, and yes all b series honda blocks are "soft" its aluminum, use the correct adaptor and some teflon tape and you will be fine
