I'm also interested...my b18c1 holds about 15 at idle (700 rpms) 10w30 at about 80 degeres celcius. At WOT, it goes close to 70 and then I guess the relief valve thing kicks in and it kicks back to like 63. Sound ok?

its a little low ... but the b18c1 service limit is 70kPa or 10 psi @80C at Idle so you should be fine.

176F is a little cool for engine oil temps.. are you sure it remains @ those temps?

The warmest I've ever saw it is 84 celcius. haven't driven it in 90 degree heat yet though. The coolant temp stays at stock location (stock gauge). When it's 60 degrees outside the oil temp usually doesnt get over 70-75 c

You realize that your oil temps are cooler then stock and your car is turbocharged, right?

Where is your oil temp sender unit installed?

I never really thought about it, I just knew it wasnt running hot I have the feed line coming out of the block into a T with the oil pressure gauge, oil temp sender, and then an outlet to the turbo so I guess it's 2 T's together

I dunno then... You are supposed to read oil temps from the oil pan.

5W30
Dont know temp
800 or less rpm.

Cold pressure is like 80 at fast idle. It will slowly go down to 15 only after it has been driven a nice long time and the oil is nice and hot.

Bearing clearances are .009 so I know im not loosing anything there. I dont see how when your in hot weather on a hot day you can have 35psi at idle like mentioned above.

by 3000 rpm i have 60PSI of pressure which is over the minimum limit of 50 by 3000.

This engine is not yet turboed. Its in inital break in right now.

It really depends more on your engine. You just need to be worried about the pressure at WOT, which is 90, and that's good. My h22 idles at 25psi and 80psi at WOT.
