Default Clickity Click

Recently i've noticed a small clicking noise coming from the tranny i suppose. If, for example, you slowly let out the clutch while idleing, it seems as the pressure plate engages, a small clicking noise happens (just once). the car drives the same and i haven't noticed any problems while driving. i'd like to figure out what this is b4 it turns into something bigger. thank in advance!

forget the axles, they click many times when making sharp turns under a load.. i think its just the throw out bearing.. they usually make noise.. unless you feel like droping the trany for something very minor .. live with it.

what are the chances of the throw out bearing leading to a more major problem?

it will make a lot more noise before it's a real issue.. That is if the TOB is bad..
It could just be the TOB coming off the pressure plate...

at risk of sounding like a newb, what does that last sentence entail? the tob coming off the pressure plate. do you mean when it engages?
