boost drop

Default boost drop

With out check valves i get 5 psi with check valves 3 is this normal

the t3/ is set at 5 psi as per boost gauge i've been boosting for a little over a month now.

Well without check valves, using a stock ECU, you are going to get a check engine light at around 0.5psi.

check light comes on irregularly sometime i bring it to 4 psi with out check light,in 2nd and 3rd gear then check light comes on i tested it all day yesterday,it weird,this just a temp till i chipp and program and tune.

Don't boost on the car until you get the fuel system ironed out.

Honestly the car when not in boost runs fine just like stock not rich at all from what the a/r gauge tells me anyways egt never gets past 1100 degrees/cdn term i know it not reliable set but with the 190 pump and 12:1 vortech i should be fine at that boost,also with check valve the does not runn rich just not getting the boost with out.

2.25" cat back
2.25" down pipe
T3 turbo (volvo)
Magna flow exhaust
(5) psi for now
21x9x3 intercooler
B series manifold ss auto (I know) budget
3" k&n filter 2.50 intercooler pipes
Chrome BOV
High flow cat /car sound
Ngk plug 1 (colder)
Stock wires

Ok well:

1) Get a missing link. This will solve your check valve problem.

2) Get a high-pressure inline pump (like the airtex pump that comes with the drag kit). The walbro you have cannot create enough pressure for the FMU to work correctly.

It would help but you can still lean out w/ the 255.
