I have ran all 3 types. ( B16 LSD, GS-R & JDM ITR ) and my favorite was the GSR. The 2.0 didn't really like the higher revs while cruising. For Racing the B16/ITR were great.

Doesn't the b16a tranny have the same short gear ratios as the ITR? I thought they did. If that's true then I'd choose the b16 with lsd. I had an R tranny on my GSR and it was so much better!

USDM ITR/B16 share the same close ratios, but I was reffering to the JDM ITR w/ the 4.875 Final Drive.

I'll agree with CA6VTEC about the high revs while crusing. One thing that you should be asking yourself is what do you have planned for your car, drag, autox etc etc.But I say go B18C,more daily driver friendly. That my $0.02 for the day.

Both the ITR and B16 trannys have close gear ratios. The ITR tranny is already equipped with LSD. You can check out Quaife LSDs.

it all depends on what you plan to do with your car and how much power you plan on making. for my turbo'd ls, i choose a LSD gsr tranny for one reason...too much torque. even with the longer gears of the gsr tranny i still spin my tires. if i were running low boost i would probably run the itr tranny. errr...well no i wouldn't cause i hate crusing on the highway at 3.5k rpms.
