I have a 1992 DA.
I took the head off and took the lifters off too. Now is there anyway to reuse this head? or am i screwed into buying a vtec head? I want to go ls boost.

I think you may have heard someone say don't re-use the head-gasket, and interpreted it as you can't re-use the HEAD.

Reuse the head man, and while its out, put in new vale seals. They are super cheap. To re-iterate, you can totally "re-use" the head, but NOT the head-gasket.

 

And do yourself a favor and buy a manual.

I am referring to the lifters, which must remain in a specific order, if they are moved around they will cause premature lifter failure. or something like that. I dont know what i am talking about but i am trying to figure it out.
