rhd conversion info, dont know much about...
i found this EF8 CRX RHD conversion with B16a engine at this japan import center where i live and was wondering something about front clips and right hand drives. i see where they were cut off from the previous vehicle and was wondering how in the world would you fab something like that onto say my car, a 89 si hatch usdm left hand drive. would you have to cut and weld? i dont kno thats why im asking, thanks.....
The best and safest way is to strip the car and drill out the factory spot welds on the fire wall and then replace with the drilled out JDM firewall and start bolting parts up
Some people "clip" cars were you cut the car in half but this is not the best way to do it.

ya there is alot of threads on here. Try a quick search. Only way I would do one is the firewall swap, I dont like clipping the front of the car at all.

sounds like alot of work...? do yall think its worth is for about 2G's for the clip and motor or will is cost a hell of alot more money coming out of my *** to complete a project like this..
I'd like for someone to post up a step by step walkthrough for this.
Pointing out the spot welds
Recommended cutting spots
Reinforcements if needed
Tips and Suggestions
Its a good project, especially for those of us who order a clip and have all those extra front end parts layin around.

I was suppossed to do this for 10psicivic but his fleet of cars and bills stopped that for now but if he decides to go through with it I will take pics step bt step.
To find spotwelds look for little low spots and drill them out.
(to see a spot weld look inside your real quarter lip or insde your hatch jamb)

Take the engine, the bodywork and lighting. All other stuff is a bonus, and ditch that useless frame.
RHD is stupid, useless, cumbersome infact, makes you look retardedn(jayDeeehm y0!), and cutting and welding a perfectly good chassis is downright stupid and a bad idea in general.
So, no. It's not worth it.

Cmon seti.....haven't you ever done something stupid in your life??
Its a hell of a project especially if you have a more than 1 CRX to mess with. Stupid maybe....but more power to those who wanna do it in spite of what many say.
