Default need help with budget Header decision

here is my problem... i just finished a h22a4 swap into a EG civic.
I would have just used the OEM one but the header was messed up, so i need to get a new one.

i don't want to spend $500+ for some of the high end stuff.

but i'm not big on DC sports either...i'd rather buy some ebay knockoff headers before DC sports & save the $100+ dollars for something pretty similar.

i know people like the Greddy but i was trying to stay under $350 & they are usually more then that.

i was going to get the Kamikaze headers but heard they are not good for N/A cars right??

i'm just seeing what you guy recommend for a replacement for around or under $350 that will work with a 2.5 exhaust.

i know there is OBX but i heard that the collector is outlet is 2.25

anybody know about AlphaWerks? http://www.autosportz.com/exha...a.htm
http://www.importperformancepa....html

or wepon R headers?

here are some of the ebay knockoffs
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631

her eis some ebay special that comes with a testpipe too
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631

let me know what you think...
i know..i know..you get what you pay for...but i just need something thats is half decent as a OEM replacement.

to be honest, if you are going to stay n/a and mod your engine later i would just get the an-r/kteller for like $500, if you are going to stay stock or boost later on just get the cheapest thing you can find on ebay, it'll serve its purpose (and will be lighter than stock header), by the time the cheap ebay header cracks you will either have figured out that u need more power anyways and will want a better header or you can find a stock one for cheap in the mean time, spending more than $200 on a header is useless unless its for performance gains...

Hm...never heard of Alpha Werks making headers for Preludes. Are they only available for the H22, or do they have an option for the H23 as well?

thats what i'm thinking.....
thats why i'm leaning towards teh AutoWerks...looks half decent & its relatively cheap around $200

its basically gonna be just bolt on mods, unless my friends talk me into boosting it.

Just get the oem one and buy some stepped piping to make a 2.5 inch collector.

dont waste your money, the ebay special will not make any more power than the oem one, and you at least know the oem one is quality....

heres my view on header buying for h22s: you must spend the money....

you just dont get the gains you want with the crappy stuff, you could spend the money now and get a good header, or you could get a shitty one and a set of cams and all kinds of other **** for your car and still not make as much hp as the nice header would have......

but go ahead.....
