you havnt been looking hard enough.

you dont need a mugen ecu, just get a P28 (civic ex) or P72 (gsr) and chip it and get uberdata or chrome. or send it to Hondata and get their S200. uberdata is free but you gotta know how to use it or know someone that does. hondata cost a lot but theres a lot of tuners out there that know how to use it.

and you wont be able to redline at 9000rpm unless you got a built head. well you can but your just gonna break your motor .

first we need to know what hes done before telling him to just go tune his ecu, from the sounds of it i doubt its much, maybe i/dc/greddy exhaust/pullies....anyways, post what you go original poster and then we can tell u if u warrant tuning, but u wont need to be revving past 7600 anyways unless u got cams and other things that would give reason to, and even then there are upgrades u must do first

and soohigh, shhhhhhhh, 600 posts in 3 months....

lol.

and yea you should post your setup first. i just figured since your looking to upgrade a ecu you had a lot of mods.

edit: i dont think h22's make any power past like 8000rpm like the b series.

Who in their right mind wants their rev limiter to be 9000 rpm on a near stock motor???

Shyt, I wish my rev limiter was set at 7400 rpm.

I've never heard of those. However, if you have an intake manifold and an exhaust, all you really need is a mild tune, if that. Otherwise, its not going to do all that much.
