Need help! Please! Car is bogging!
Alright, I got a 96 GSR hatchback! I was doing a routine tune up-spark plugs, eng. oil, trans. oil, spark plug wires, air filter. I ended up switching the #3 and #4 spark plug wiring and try turning it. It bogged and i shut it off and then realized that i had switched the wiring. I switch the wiring and tried to start it again. It did the same thing, bogging. I checked the timing belt and it looked like it was off. So, I changed the timing belt, water pump, A/C belt, Alt. belt, tensioner and power steering belt. Since i was 10,000 from changing it anyway! I put everything back together and is still doing the same thing.
I tried putting the old plugs and wires back in and no luck. I thought that the ignition might be 180 out but its kinda hard to do. I made sure that the #1 piston is top dead center on the compression stroke along with the cams lining up with each other. I'm going to check to see if i'm getting spark out of the spark plugs tomorrow.
