auto ls
I got a 01 b18b motor out of a friends wrecked integra for 300 bucks anything i want on the front clip up. So natrually i took the motor. Heres my question. . .Its a auto whats the difference between that and a manual? I know the cams are different i already got new ones. And i know i need a clutch and flywheels and obviously a tranny. The motor swaps going into a 1994 civic ex thats already had a b16 in it. Can i use tthe halfshaft or is it not going to work with a manual tranny? Can i use the axles? Thanks in advance and if you could asnwer decently quick i wqould appreciate it even more.
You can reuse your B16 tranny, so therefore the axles and starter. What you may have problem with is the ECU since your 94 will be different than what the 01 LS has, if you use the auto ECU you may have a CEL which may not be a problem unless you need to pass inspection/smog.
If you can find an OBD1 ECU for LS then it is perfect, I think there is an instruction on converting Auto ECU to manual in uberdata's forum somewhere.

Hmm...cams are NOT different. I did lots of research on this, as well as did several auto to manual swaps. They are the same.
Anyway....other than the transmission/starter, everything is the same. The radiator is slightly different, has another line coming from it. The intake manifold has slight differences, but nothing that will affect it going into a manual car.
You can use the axles already on it, but you will need a halfshaft/intermediary shaft from a B16/GSR.

Well said, since you already have an ECU for uberdata, you are good to go. Just make sure you do it one step at a time and start with a stock map, make sure it runs fine before you put your turbo on.
Good luck with the setup.
