brainstorming motor buildup. help
so the crank i got is a b20a crank and after pondering and gettign advice ive decided the bang for the buck just isnt there as far as modding it to work with a b16 block
i have access to a pristine b18a with the exception of the head for 150 bucks. i currently have a b16a with super low miles (28k)
im not crazy about ls/vtec set-ups becuase i keeep hearing baout longevity issues and valve to piston clearance issues but if anyone has any advice on how to alleviate those issues id be all for it. which pistons/rods do i need to put away the durablity issues and allow me to use something more burly than a gsr cam without the valves hitting the pistons?
any advice? maybe just try to get the crankshaft from the b18a and use my b16 block and head and get custom pistons and rods? use the whole thing?
whats the highest compression i can run on 91 octane cali **** fuel? (only the finest AM/PM)

ok. b18a crank. b16a block bored to 82mm. what rods will i need?
i want to build the burliest motor i can that still says "b16a" on the front of it.

theres a fellow honda-tech name TECH RACING INC. who has a stroker piston kit that utilize a custom arias pistons. It allows the use of a b18b crankshaft with the rods allowing you to achive a little bit over a 1.8 liter. heres a thread that i found.
