Should I keep this Wideband O2 sensor?
I bought a brand new wideband o2 sensor because it was just too good a deal to pass up. I could sell it for a few bucks more than what I paid.
But in any case, I'm having a shop tune my car. I'm going to be using Crome.
Do I actually need the wideband for anything then?
If I keep it, what do I use it for? I have an additional o2 bung welded on to my downpipe, should I run it permanently?
Permanently monitoring my AFR will do what for me?

If your crome tuner knows what he is doing, more then likely you shouldnt have to moniter your a/f via a wideband unit. But its always a plus to have one.
Its cool to have, u can notice different A/F ratios in diff. situations. It always a good piece of mind knowing ur car is @ 12 A/F all the time
Hrm... I gotcha then.
In another situation, I could probably hook my wideband up to the Crome as well as the stock o2 sensor and have it give me more accurate closed loop feedback and tuning. Is this not true?

I would keep it. That way if anything ever goes wrong internally (headgasekt, etc) with the motor then you'll be able to tell most of the time by the AF's changing.
Keep it. What if you want to change something about your setup?
Or up the boost? You don't want to have to pay for a retune every time you change something. I say keep the wideband so you can make adjustments in the future if you need to.
