I second the above - I fix all of my shattered blocks with JB Weld.

I also fill in broken chunks of piston with it. Works wonders on internal engine parts.

I even made rod bolt mold, and have been using JB Weld to make new rod bolts - FAR superior to ARP.

Before someone jumps my case, I'm J/K.

Don't worry about the block man - you'll be back, and you learned a valuable lesson the same way most of do

elaborate on this.....did you not pull enough/any timing? were you running lean? how did you make your 'basemap'? sucks to see you blow all that $$$....im learning on dseries

Been there done: that im on my thrid motor now but this last one I said enough is enough and just got it sleeved. Sorry to see it happen right when summers about to hit but hopefully bigger and better things will come of it!

How much boost were you running? Did you have any cels on before this happened? Which ecu were you running? Dont say p08.Did you use 91 octane or better? Were you using USED 450cc injectors? What if one injector wasent working right BOOM in one cylinder.You should post your basemap.I really doubt it was the basemap probably something else.
