I need help with replacing this.

Is this a simple unbolt and rebolt?

All I need to do is replace the rubber bushing for the mount. cuz it is cracked and causing my engine to shake real bad when the AC is on.

I dont know what mount it is but its the bottom engine mount on the passenger side.

the shop is asking 164 to do this.

anyone know how easy it is to replace it?

do i just remove some bolts and replace the rubber bushing?

will the tranny fall off if i just remove the mount?

your tranny will not fall off. just remove and replace. but if you're paranoid about the tranny falling off, place a jack under the tranny.

the mechanic wants $165 to do it so i thought i would save 50% if i just did it myself.

I just hope that the bolts won't be a bltch to take out since i dont have powertools. just craftsman hand tools.

 

Don't worry about hand tools, I did my entire suspension with hand tools.

I am still trying to figure out which mount you are talking about, the one in front by the radiator or the one by the passenger wheel well?

The one by the radiator in front is a piece of cake, the one by the passenger wheel well is alittle harder, made easier by removing the bracket from the block.

 

i think its the one by the radiator. u can see it when u jack up the car. the mount is okay, its the Bushing that is cracked.
