Default VTec Controllers

What kind of controller should I get, not looking to spend over $200. Is it worth getting one?

not on an accord sohc vtec, plus accord vtec is more for economy, not performance like h22/b18 etc...if you plan on tuning go obdI and hondata, dont cheap out on vafc...

vtec controller = controls rpm at which vtec engages
vafc = vtec controller with mild tuning capabilities
hondata = very good tuning capabilities, u should be able to get an extra 5-8whp tuning with this + whatever power the bolt ons make

but bottom line, vtec controller by itself wont do anything positive for your car, and is a pain to deal with with accord engines anyways

why would you recommend him hondata when his car only have bolt ons, there's nothing for the program to tune for.

get a vafc and be happy.

how effective is a vtec controller? do more research on VAFC, yes it control vtec but is not what you think.

I say go V-AFC II to controll VTEC And Air/Fuel. If you got adj. cam gears then theres your timing adjustments ..
