Yea get an AFC and tune it, you'll be able to gain a decent amount of power that way.

We cant make up your mind for you. Research and find out the route that YOU want to take. We see the "what should I do next" every other post it seems. How about you try and find out what you want to do next and ask how you should go about it . What is the car used highway/ autocross/ 1/4 mile 1/8 mile so many varibles to just name parts to slap on your car.

i dont think hes going to need a fpr and a fuel rail for the mods that he has and or is going to do.

i'd highly suggest coilovers and a lifetime warranty. you live in SD and it snows in the winter time. you do NOT want to drive in snow with a lowered car. if you hit a good amount of snow, you will rip off ur lip or do more damage to ur car. with coilovers, you can raise it to stock height or even a little higher and get an alignment each time u do this. try ground controls. get the original rates if ur just driving around town. ur not putting out enough hp to where u need really stiff rear rates. it will also allow for a more comfortable ride. if u want to go for a stiff suspension, expect to bounce around in ur seat, unless you have a 5 point harness + a harness bar and bucket seats.

You could do something like a vafc or ditch the header for smsp header BTW, I live in new hampshire, where there are a shitload of hicks, and no import shops but I have still managed to do a shitload on my car by myself, including a motor build-up I'm doing alone right now. So it doesn't matter where you are, but the internet becomes your friend

I would ditch the DC header and put your jdm h22 header on. I wouldnt suggest wasting money on spark plug wires since they wont give you any hp. OEM is fine unless you have some 800hp drag car you are trying to get a few more hp from. SMSP headers rock but on a fully stock h22 it would be very peaky and not as much fun to drive. Peak hp isnt everything. Powerband is your friend.

but for real. If your not looking into going into the motor, Keep the DC or JDM h22 header, get some NICE coilovers.

a manual conversion should be first on your list.

get the lightest wheels possible with nice sticky tires.

then weight reduction

Port and polish does amazing stuff for h22s but keep in mind your peak hp will be lower.

as long as you send it to a reputable shop, yes it doesnt do amazing things. But since vtec motors already have a good flow, you have to be experienced to really get your moneys worth.
