hey guys dose anyone know if the sirii came factory with a main girdle like the gsr and type r do? any insite to this would be a great help i tryed searcking every were and could not find any info on it thank you

thanks man dose anyone know anything about the strenth of the sirii block and weather or not a main girdle even make a large diffrence on the strenth of the rotating asmbl.

 

you do not need a girdle for a b16. not needed for the short stroke and good RS.

 

how many rmp would you say the stock bottem end is good for assuming you have a fully built head and no rev limit also maybe a rough horse power guess on how much it would take with arp main studs

 

also would a gsr main girdle fit on a sirii? using gsr oil pan main studs and oil pick up

that's a very far fetched question; you need to be more precise. the bottom end will take as much revs as the head will allow for..
arp main studs will take all the stress that you would ever give them.

it will; but you would have to get the block line bored/honed

 

man thank you so much i realy needed thoes answers what i realy want to know is this sirii stock bottem end cable of holding a 200hp shot and reving to about 9200 with main studs and a drop in blockgaurd assuming the head was up to par
