Default Clutch Pedal Click

Hey first off i did a search and noone seemed to have a similar problem to me so i am making this post. Car is a 1999 Civic Si. The issue is when releasing the clutch pedal there is a slight click you can feel in the pedal, not hear. It happens in gears 1 - 5, nuetral, reverse, when the car is off/on ect.. If you let the pedal up slowly right after it catches fully there is a slight click you can feel. The thing is it never did this before but i just installed a Brand new Exedy Clutch and OEM resurfaced flywheel with pilot and throwout bearing. Do you think this will go away after breakin (i have put about 100miles on the new clutch so far) or was something installed wrong? Please help asap this is driving me nuts. Thanks

there was a service report on the 01 civic and up the master cylinder needs to be replaced or u can get some white grease spray it where the clutch pedal goes into the fire wall and that take care of the noise for a while.

So have you checked to see if this is a problem with the pedal assy or the clutch itself? I'd have someone else push the clutch for you and poke around for a bit to see where it's coming from. I'd also check the master and slave cylinders.

Do you read much?

Indeed. Pinpoint where the click is coming from. Sometimes you think it could be something small like the pedal, but it could be coming from somewhere else and you wouldn't know it until it's too late. Sounds dramatic, huh?
