Default Rear Disc Conversion Questions

Before you tell me to search, I did, but I just have a few questions.
I have a 97 Honda Civic LX (Drums on the rear) (Non-ABS)
I also have a 93 Honda Civic EX four door w/ discs on the rears (ABS Model)

Can I swap the parts from the 93 onto the 97 even though one is abs and one isn't? I want to do the rear disc conversion I just can't seem to find enough info.

I noticed the brakes on my 93 are bigger than the 97. At least the brake pads are half an inch bigger.

Any help would be great. Thanks ahead of time.

Yes the parts will swap just fine. I would just remove the ABS sensors from the EX brakes. If you do the swap, you will need to source a NON ABS rear disc proportioning valve since ABS prop valves are not compatable (96-00 hatchback & 99-00 Si will work ). I don't know if the 93 EX's parking brake cables will work on your 97 LX, but it's worth a shot (they might).

If I were you, I would take the larger front brakes too. If you do, your gonna want to get a bigger master cylinder too. I'm not sure which one bolts onto the 97, but I know you'll need a 15/16"-1" unit for those larger front calipers.

I'm hoping your not trying to put the LX brakes back onto the EX. Your going to be wasting your time, and you might make the EX car dangerous to drive...
