Just bought a 01' GSR.

I have been driving the car for about a week now. Yesterday, I was at about 5,000 RPMs when I felt this jolt. Well I let off and left it alone. Today, I tested it out again and it does the same thing in gears 1-3 during VTEC. It feels like it sputters and loses power after it jolts. It feels okay from 1,000-4,000 RPMs. VTEC is when it kicks in...anybody know what is going on? thanks...

Oh yeah...I have a V2 intake and DC header for engine mods.

 

Sounds like a spark / fuel problem. Look into changing your spark plugs, wires, distributer cap/rotor, fuel filter if you haven't recently.

Any check engine lights?

 

There are no check engine lights at all.

Hope it is nothing major. I am bringing it down to the Acura dealership and get them to take a look at it.
