I saw a stand at a car show once selling them and they had dyno sheets saying like 2 horse power and like 3 lb/ft. of torque. They said it was more for the torque but the real thing it does is help with fuel economy too. Id say if its cheap get it but the ones at this stand were like 150 bucks and thats rediculous for all you get out of it in my opinion. Just my .02

These things are worthless.

In carbed vehicles they help by swirling the air and increasing fuel atomization....

In fuel injected vehicles it does nothing since the fuel is sprayed from the bottom of the ports on the intake manifold.

The only reason I would use one of these is if I had an extra injector before the throttle body (some people do this instead of getting larger injectors), or if I had one of those filter mounted zex dry nitrous kits

like gurusan said the only real thing there used for is on carb engines... i got three on my 66' goat... and they work great there but i tested one one my turbo civic and couldnt notice sqaut, so there not really worth it and if they did you wouldnt notice on a NA, since i know i didnt feel anything on my turbo civic...
