its sooo loud. definitely an improvement over running open dp, but doesnt sound too much better. i even have a 3" resonator inline. my setup is 2.75" dp, 3" cat, 3"custom pipe to a 3" dynomax ultraflow.

seriously, i dont know if i can put up with this much longer. its rediculous. all i know is that i'm not driving when i go out w/ friends

Doubt its louder then my Tanabe RM. My friends talon with 16g, and thermal 3" isn't close to as loud...in fact it is really quiet. Seems kinda strange.

 

mines not even that loud. 2.25" to 2.5" to 3" dp, 3" cat, 22" resonator, to 3" universal magnaflow muffler w/ 3" tip. also closed loop wg...routed to right after the cat (dunno why the dumb f_ck did that).

Its low, but not that loud. Sounds awesome IMO.

i got 3 inch dp and 3inch full exhaust and its not loud with no cat or resonators

 

I've got 2 3" 22" resonators scraping the speed bumps on mine.

it is quite DEEP but not mind blowing loud and irritating. putting the 2.5" cat from stock really silenced things.

 

Ultra Flo's are usually pretty loud. I had one on a 90 Talon TSi *turbo* and a 89 CRX Si *nitrous*. both cars were pretty loud. I am currently running the thermal 3" on my Civic and in my opinion is not too loud, unless you are boosting.

 

Hopefully mine won't be loud. I just picked up a 3" Thermal, no resonator. Since my car looks stock as hell, I don't want a LOUD @$$ exhaust. Oh well, we'll see...

dam, wish i had known before hand about the ultra flows. its one of those tubular mufflers that is straight thru, but doesnt seem like it does a lot of muffling. I think ima change out the muffler soon (i just got it too ). how about magnaflows? impressions? i wanna try and stick with a straight thru design. thanks.

 

If it bothers you so much,buy a baffle to drive around with and just yank it out at the track.
