I just installed an AEM short ram on my friends 97 accord SE. He has been driving it for about 2 weeks now, and recently it has started making a humming noise. This happens even @ idle. It's comming from the intake for sure. I'm thinking it's just audible through the intake, but it's comming from inside the motor. Any suggestions?

Just check to make sure all the couplings and seals are tight. Other than that humming noises for intakes are pretty much normal....

 

mine does it at idle... It's normal it's just the way the air flows through the pipe :-)

it also might be vibrating excessively make sure everythings tyte at the bottom side it the intake isnt hitting the frame underneeth

 

that is the sound of the iac operating. if you were to unplug it the noise will stop
