Default Broken Axle?

sup guys, last night i was driveing my bb6 and as i was shifting from 1->2...the car hessitated and then cut off..well i let it coast for about 50 yrds...and tryed to start it back up..it started on the first try...but when i tryed to put it in gear..all i heard is the loud grinding sound..(if i hold the clutch it stops) no matter what gear i shift it in to i will not move.(and i hear the grind)....now, normaly when i put the car in a gear and let the clutch off quick..the car will cut off..well now when i let off the clutch..the car stays running.. also the cv boot (rod) spins on the passenger side, but the driver side dosen't..and the yellow abs light is staying on... this is a 97 prelude base, it has been lowered, no engine mods, all stock..only 84k on the car..anybody knows whats wrong?..thanks.
