Balnced and blue printed question

Default Balnced and blue printed question

The idea of balanced is fairly simple to understand...........but what exactly is "blue printed"? Perhaps a newb question but I don't know and tired of wondering............thanks!

when you bluepritn you establish a specific number for all the clearances and specs in the motor. instead of just feeling the approximate clearance with a feeler or eyeing it out. the person who is blueprinting uses micrometers and whatnot to get the specs exactly within .0001 ths of inches.

I always wondered what exactly happened when you blueprint a block... so how does that make power?? Or is it more of a stability thing b/c everything is perfect.

that was going to be my next question, i guess you could think of it like a light fly??? less friction and easier to rev......"free up" some power?
