15G Downpipe Flange...
I've been looking to get rid of the GReddy cast elbow... haven't been able to find a flange... so i decided i'd make my own.
my question...
what size steel material should i use to make my own flange?? 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" ?? I'm not planning on making it perfect, gonna cut a square or w/e and drill the holes out. i've had enough running around looking for this stupid flange... please help me out. Thanks!

for the down pipe flange you should use 3/8"
its almost a standard to use 3/8" flanges on dp's, wastegates, and turbo inlet flanges
although i have also seen people use 3/8" stainless flanges on there head flanges

isn't the 15g a tdo4... mitsu? Is it the same as the 14b flange? http://www.roadraceengineering.com has those flanges for pretty cheap. *shrug* im probably wrong but I'm sure there is a company whom makes these flanges for cheap.. that will end up looking/maybe even working better than something that is hacked up.

How did it turn out?? If you even got anywhere with it yet. I'm still looking to get rid of that elbow myself. I was about to buy the Kteller pipe, but decided to fab up one of my own. If you guys have any more info on the flange situation let me know. I'd really hope to get rid of the elbow asap
