Default DEL SOL SWAP

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE ENGINE MOUNTS FROM MY DEL SOL SI WILL MATCH THOSE FROM A GSR MOTOR OR WILL I HAVE TO CUSTOMIZE THEM TO FIT? IF I HAVE TO BUY NEW MOUNTS FOR THE ENGINE SWAP WHAT COMPANY MAKES THEM?

#1: Turn off capslock, it's really annoying......

Hasport makes motor mount kits that you will most likely need to buy, your d-series mounts will not bolt up to a b-series. If you can, try to find del sol VTEC mounts, those del sols came with a b16 stock so you know it will bolt up.

Actually........ NO they won't fit. Do you know what kind of engine is in a del sol si? A d16 vtec engine (z6 or newer y8), and you CANNOT bolt a b series engine to d series mounts ........ plain as that.

You need new mounts (del sol vtec or 00 civic si or hasport).

I did a b16a2 swap in my del sol a year ago and used all the d series mounts without modification. As far as using them on a gsr...I know the passenger side trans mount and the rear mount will work. I've heard people say they had to have the driver side mount from the gsr though. I Hope this info helps.
