changing head gasket.
i just finished my swap a few weeks ago, i've barly even had a chance to drive it because i had no exhaust and its loud as ****, i finally get my exhaust and now i'm leaking oil from the headgasket, i'm so pissed. btw its a jdm b18c in an eg hatch. anyway, the head gasket from advance auto is 64, is that any good, or should i go with oem honda? if so whats the benifit of doing so? also, i've never changed a head gasket on a vtec engine, any special conditions i should know about? thanks in advance

If you have a helms then why are you asking me what's special about changing a vtec head gasket. The helms shows you exactly what you need to do. It holds your hand and tells you exactly what to do step by step. I was suggesting you get a Helms because of the specific torque numbers you need for the head studs.
Also, watch your shitty additude. I can and will show you the door.

I'm asking for anyone with specific experience to share their insight, you obviously don't have any, so i don't need to hear from you. understood?

i could care less about you being a mod, keep in mind that you have no real power, its just an internet forum. save the powertrip for someone else cuz i don't care, like i said before if you don't have any insight, keep it to yourself

Insight? It's changing a headgasket. It should take you 2 or 3 hours, and you told me to **** off when I told you that buying an instruction manual would be your best bet so that the job didn't get botched.
I'm not on a power trip. I'd have told anyone the exact same thing that I told you, but you got all bent out of the frame about it. Now your threads locked. Go figure it out yourself if you don't need this forum.
