I have an ls engine laying around and I know the header bolt patterns are different between the engines, but what about the intake mani do they differ also, if they do can you swap the throttle body at least? i don't want to take everything apart and find out that it was a waste of time. has anybody tried something like that?

wow intelligent comeback......no they wont fit, as previously stated, because d and b series to not swap

 

thanks for the help I kinda thought that too because of the exhaust bolt pattern, but you never know. but what about the throttle body you think with some mod you can fit that on a d for a bigger bore

 

all honda throttlebodies are interchangeable to a certain extent.

FYI i did search and read that but it was nothing I was looking for, and for the record the ls throttle body does fit the bolt pattern but the fit valve on the ls goes on the im and on the d it goes on the tb and there fore it doesn't work with a d series and gets eratic idle.
