A/C slider wont slide all the way to cool end
I recently (5/14) had to replace my heater hose due to a leak. It heated up a lil more than normal, but i turned it off before it got worse. I have since replaced the hose, but now have another lil problem. Now my a/c slider wont slide all the way to the cool side since i replaced the hose. Any help?? It might not affect the engine or anything, but its annoying to know that it wont slide all the way to the end. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Look on the engine side of the firewall right behind where the climate controls are. Right there where the heater hoses attach is the valve for opening the heater. Check around that spot and look for something interfering when you move the slider....
If that doesn't help, just take out the climate control thing and check all the connections on there. It's just screws and plastic pieces.

mine does that too! the guy i bought the car from said that the cable rusted and seized and he had to replace it with one from a junkyard. i am assuming he screwed something up doing the replacement. i havent been able to figure out what its catching on. If you figure it out, please let me know!
Try this, it may help
