heater core questions

heater core questions
removed heater core, now, i have the heater control valve on the inlet line, shoul i remove it, or close the vlave and connect it to the return...or just remove the valve alltogether?

if ur going to remove the heater stuff. cant u just remove the control valve and get a new hose or what now run it to were the heater (out)hose is

thats what the question is, should i allow the coolant from the head to flow freely back to the rail or keep the valve shut at all times...( summer car only )

I bypassed mine until I get the core fixed. All you have to do is take off the inlet hose from the valve (leaving the engine side connected); take off the oulet hose at the manifold side; route the free end of the inlet hose to the outlet nozzle on the manifold (basically use the existing inlet hose to jumper between engine and manifold). The core can be capped of by running the free end of the outlet hose to the now open end of the valve.
