How do you bypass heater core?

Default How do you bypass heater core?

I had a vw corrado that the heater core went out on but I don't know where to
find the hoses on a 97 civic ex. Can someone please point to the right hoses.

p.s. searched but couldn't find pictures of where to find them

there are 2 hoses coming out of the firewall. one to the heater control valve and the other i think it goes to the side of the head. just loop those 2 together.

If you look on the fire wall you should see 2 hoses going to the heater core. The one on the left with you facing the car is the inlet and the one on the right is the return. remove the return end from the engine and the the inlet end from the heater core.

Connect the end of the inlet hose to where the return hose was. So then you have have both ends of that hose on the engine. You can connect both ends of the other hose to the heater core. That's how I did mine.
