Default Do-it-yourself timing belt kits: embrace or avoid?

http://www.prostreetonline.com...8-hnd/

This might save me like $500+. Are people successful with this? Are the parts Honda quality? I don't want to be worrying about it when I drive hard.

i believe that prostreetonline says that their parts are made by the same people that make the oem parts for honda.

Sweet. That just leaves the installation process: finding out all the places where I could potentially fork up, and making sure I don't.

Do it yourself, but give yourself 5 dyas. Get an impact gun rental or whatever ready, this is a must for the crank pully. Its not diffucult, but if your pressed on time it could easily be a difficult job. I crossthreaded 3 waterpump screws. badtimes.

You don't need a impact gun. I've taken the crank pulley off countless times and every time I use this tool to remove it: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/AP-7809.html or this one which is cheaper: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/SP-60100.html Or if you have the bling bling money get the Honda tool itself which I got

BTW it only took me a afternoon to change the timing belt and water pump my first time.
