Default best site for OEM parts? Or after market parts?

I am looking for a timing belt kit...that includes everything with timing belt, water pump and everything else(like tensioner) that i should change. it might just be me but when i look on the internet at sites that claim to have OEM parts, the timing belt seems a little cheaper than what i thought. I look at Auto Zone and their timing belts were around $50 for the 'good brand'(the person said) but on some sites its only $22-$30 for hte timing belt itself. to me OEM parts seem to be an outrageous price but $22-$30 doesnt seem like it. anyone have advice on a site that has everything i need to do the job? Is OEM really better than after market brands? Or have i been looking at the right places and just have my panties all up in a bunch?:-). any info would be helpful
